RiverGlen Christian Church engaged GROTH Design Group to provide architectural and interior design services to remodel and upgrade worship, gathering, public corridor, and ministry spaces, as well as create a NextGen education space suitable for all ages. The scope further includes finish, furniture, signage, and AV upgrades to the respective public corridor, gathering spaces and auditorium.
Creation of a NextGen ministry space involved stripping the first generation worship space of its existing layout and reconfiguration to include a large playground, toddler play space, and parent lounge. Student areas include a scaled-down worship space, game room and student lounge. A new check-in security wall provides control to the children’s spaces, and fun new colors and signage creates appropriate wayfinding. Themed around the outdoors, traveling and adventure, the new children’s spaces feature new finishes and furniture.
