Director of Design, Principal
Peter serves as a Principal and Director of Design for GROTH Design Group, bringing more than 13 years of professional experience and an extraordinary collaborative approach to his clients. Pete is responsible for stewarding a collaborative and thoughtful design process throughout the firm, engaging third-party design and art organizations, and working with local community leaders. Beyond his role as Director of Design, Pete also leads the firm’s continued education efforts for staff to ensure the team remains at the forefront of diverse architectural practices, sophisticated composition, and deep insight into interdisciplinary design.
Pete has worked on several notable award-winning projects during his time with the firm, including Notre Dame De Pere (2020 Wisconsin ASID Design Excellence Award), Cedarburg School District High School (2021 The Daily Reporter Top Project), First Immanuel Lutheran Church & School (2020 Patcraft Schools that Rock), and more. He is active in the community serving as the Trustee at Large and Chair of Facilities Task Force with the Milwaukee Art Museum, Bridge Committee Member with the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center, and board member with the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Art.
